A New Start

I must admit that this blogging about my life is addicting. I know my life is not what you want to read about but I am here anyway just telling how it is from my point of view.

I am about three months away from graduating from college. It's only an Associates but this degree that I am getting is the most worthy thing I have ever done for myself. I did it on my own. I had to take the classes and study and take the tests and make hard decisions about my career path. I did it and I am pleased to say that I am graduating with a 3.561 GPA and am walking down that aisle a High Honors recipient.

I grew up never being as good as my sister. She always had straight "A"s with no effort at all, where as, I always had to work very hard to get even mediocre grades. I took choir in school because I knew I could sing and loved it so I thought I'd be an easy "A". Even that didn't garner me an A at first semester. Boy was that a shock. Anyway, I graduated high school, but only barely and then I quit after my first year of college when I got married. That was wasted money!

Being married for 13 years to a controlling beast of a man didn't do wonders to my self esteem either. After the divorce I set out to prove to myself that I was worthy of a happy and fulfilling life. And this is my blog about getting that dream into a reality!

OMG! You're back. How cool is that!
Great first post. Found you from comments left on JW's blog. Wasn't that awful?

Anyway, welcome back.

I was wondering where you went. Then you commented - I had to come see for myself.

You are worthy! Don't let anyone ever make you feel "less".

One more thing - do not ever compare yourself to another. We all have something that makes us special.

I'm hear if you need to laugh.
